Scrapbooking....say wha?
It seems like I've come full circle and have started scrapbooking again, this time adding a more artistic approach to paper. I'm in love I tell you!
This week I've worked on three layouts, only two are complete and let's just say the third layout met with a cat and a glass of water....still trying to sort that one out!!! LOL
A friend (hi Heather!!!) turned me onto 213 in 2013 at Two Peas. OMG. I seriously love the challenge prompts. It's not only stretching my creativity, but also getting me to really dig into my hoard of supplies!
First up...
The challenge was this:
82. Combine Stripes and Dots
83. Use a 2Peas Cut File in Your Title
84. Go for the Gold!
85. You've Been Framed!
Now keep in mind, this was my first traditional layout in at least ten years!!!! I'm absolutely in love with stitching on EVERYTHING. I currently have turquoise thread in my machine. It's such a fun and happy color. Don't you think?

Next up we have this bad girl:
86. Try out an art supply.
87. Don't be worried when you need to start over.
88. Combine see through elements.
89. Decorate with flair!
Seriously, I love this layout so much. I decided to use a bit of a left over page protector. It was so much fun to sandwich the paper and stitch...ahem...with turquoise thread! :) I'm not sure if you can tell, but I used gelatos, spray, and then went over it with large strokes of gesso. It was totally out of my comfort range, but so much fun!
